GLIMPSES OF CONNECTION IN DISCONNECTED TIMES
Signal is a series of illustrations observing the quiet, almost invisible shift in how we interact with the world around us. Inspired by everyday scenes, such as on buses, in cafés, and on sidewalks, these works depict individuals absorbed in their smartphones. What once felt like occasional glances have become constant gazes, as our attention turns inward to screens and away from each other. Where there might have been a nod, a greeting, a shared moment, now there is silence. This series asks: What are we disconnecting from in the pursuit of constant connection?
